Celebrate the New Year with a musical revue featuring music from the Golden Age of the Hollywood silver screen. Featuring beloved songs from blockbuster hits such as Pal Joey, A Star is Born, The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me In St. Louis, Casablanca, Easter Parade, and many, MANY more, That's Entertainment! combines these gems into a musical revue filled with laughs and joy. Take a trip back in time to the Hollywood Golden Age, where MGM Studios and Paramount ruled the silver screen. Relive those wonderful moments as Judy, Mickey, Gene, Frank, Doris, and Ethel all sang and danced their way into your hearts.
Featuring performances by Nate Groonwald, Allie Wojciechowski, Justin Adair, Brian Craft, Amanda Horvath, and Jordan Yentz, under the direction of esteemed Chicago director/choreographer Bobby Johnson.
That's Entertainment! promises to be a memorable event, transporting you back in time, and as Judy sang - "make your heart strings go zing, zing, ZING!"

|  | Gerald Bauer (Musical Direction) is thrilled to be returning to Lake Country Players after playing Vice Principal Panch in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and music directing An Evening of Music. Favorite shows accompanied include University of Wisconsin Madison's Dames at Sea and Accent On Dance's A Chorus Line. Gerald is a senior in University of Wisconsin Milwaukee's School of Architecture and Urban Planning and will be attending graduate school the coming spring. He is so happy to be collaborating again with such a talented group of performers. |
| Brian Craft most recently appeared in The Apollo Civic Theater's production of A Chritsmas Carol as Young Scrooge. Last holiday season Brian performed in Marvin Hamlisch's Happy Holidays with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Brian is a senior performance major at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA and has toured with Shenandoah Showmakers for two seasons. Brian has also worked with American Entertainment Productions as a Singer/Dancer at theme parks and made his equity theater debut in Hula Hoop Sha-Boop at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. |  | Allie Wojciechowski is a junior at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance. She is a 2009 graduate of Arrowhead High School, and was a three year member of the Broadway Company. Some favorite performances include Cats (Grizabella), and Pirates of Penzance (Edith). Allie was awarded an Exemplary State Soloist by the state of Wisconsin in 2008 and 2009. She has performed in several musical numbers the past two years on the stages at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, and will be seen later this year in the upcoming CCPA vocal production of Candide. Allie is also no stranger to the Lake Country Playhouse stage, having performed in last summer’s production The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona Lisa Peretti). | | Justin Adair is currently working as a performer and music teacher in Chicago and is loving it. This year he performed with the College Light Opera Company's 2011 Summer season in Cape Cod where he was seen as Frederic Graham in Kiss Me, Kate, the title role in Friml's The Vagabond King, and the onstage guitarist in Man of La Mancha. Other credits include Jimmy in The Suitcase: An Opera (for which he participated in an international arts festival in Belfast, Ireland) and Eddy in Mark-Anthony Turnage's Greek with Chicago Opera Vanguard; and Mickey Rooney in Babes in Hollywood with Jedlicka Performing Arts Center. Mr. Adair will next be seen as Fabrizio in The Light in the Piazza with Theo-Ubique Cabaret Theatre. He is blessed to be back in Wisconsin performing with his Roosevelt University friends and especially with the love of his life, Amanda Horvath. Thank you for supporting the arts! |  |

Amanda Horvath is ecstatic to be back in Wisconsin, working with such talented friends! Ms. Horvath most recently worked with Chicago Shakespeare Theater in their critically acclaimed production of Follies as the Young Heidi u/s. Other Chicago credits include: Marie in Voice Check: A Woyzeck Cabaret (Chicago Opera Vanguard); Yum-Yum in The Mikado (Chicago College of Performing Arts); Cloclo Moustache in Cloclo (Chicago Folks Operetta); Lucy Lockit in The Beggar’s Opera (DuPage Opera Theatre); Judy Garland in Babes in Hollywood (Jedlicka Performing Arts Center); Scaramouche in We Will Rock You (JPAC). Other credits include two summers with the College Light Opera Company of Cape Cod as Lilli Vanessi/Kate in Kiss Me, Kate; Aldonza (Dulcinea) in Man of La Mancha; Huguette in The Vagabond King; Eva Peron in Evita; Lalume in Kismet; and Domina in A Funny Thing…Forum. Ms. Horvath received her BM from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. |

Some favorite credits include Cunegonde inCandide, Peep-Bo in The Mikado (Chicago College of Performing Arts), The Student Prince (Light Opera Works), Suor Osmina in Suor Angelica (Italian Operatic Experience), Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Wauwatosa Players), Kristine in A Chorus Line(Wauwatosa Players), and Cinderella in Into the Woods (Wauwatosa Players). Ms. Yentz has also appeared on Throwdown! with Bobby Flay (The Food Network). In addition, Jordan is an accomplished harpist, having played for over 13 years. Ms. Yentz will receive a BM in voice performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Endless thanks to my family for their love and support! |
