Playwright A.R. Gurney has made a long and distinguished career out of examining the actions, emotions and motivations of the American upper class - for both comic and dramatic effect. "The Dining Room" consists of 19 interconnected scenes contained within a room where we all seem to congregate. Some of the scenes are uproariously funny, some are somber, and all of them will remind you of the comedy and drama in your own lives. This show is also a performing showcase, as 6 actor/actresses tackle 57 parts - come and enjoy our opening show of the 2011-12 season!
